1. How much does it cost for an Epic Board Skin?

It depends on size. If you are designing your own (its around .09 Cents a sq/in), If you are choosing to upload your own designs click here.

2. How long does it take to produce an Epic Board Skin?

It depends how busy we are at the time, but typically would take 2-3 business days, then it goes into shipping department for packaging.

3. How long does it take to ship an Epic Board Skin?

It depends on where you are located. Within Canada (3-6 Business Days) Within the USA (4-10 Business Days) International (2-4 Weeks).

4. How difficult is it to apply an Epic Board Skin?

Application can be totally completed simply in about 30mins. Step by step instructions are included with every Epic Board Skin, and instruction guide is fully downloadable from the “Skinning Instructions Page” on our website. If these instructions are followed correctly your skin application will go smoothly and your final result will look, feel and function as though it was printed directly to your board. It is really all in the Prep work of your board or skis that will make a good install. See our installations video for more info.

5. How difficult is it to remove a board skin?

Although our products are capable of lasting for years they can be removed with very little ease at anytime without damaging your boards factory finish. Simply lift an edge and slowly pull it off the board. Using heat would for sure help the process for removal! Keep in mind that our products are only meant for a one time application and once they are removed it will be impossible to reapply once again!

6. Will this damage my board in anyway?

Epic Board Skins use only the highest quality materials for our products. The same quality product that companies like NASCAR™ uses for wrapping all the new graphic concepts to the race cars, ready for racing. Not only should your board skin not damage your board, it will also provide a large amount of protection while in place.

7. How do I deal with bubbles after application?

We’ve utilized the latest 3M Scotchprint™ air release vinyl technology in all of our products to ensure that air bubbles are easy to remedy. Simply rub the air bubble with your fingers and the air will dissipate through the non-visible air release channels on the underside of the printed skin. If the bubble is to large to dissipate simply puncture with a needle and release the air through the hole. And voila a perfect install job!

8. My snowboard board has raised/indented areas, can I still apply an Epic Board Skin?

In most cases, yes. We’ve designed our product to curve, stretch and bend around edges and torsion (raised or indented areas) while still holding strong. So even if your board has areas that are raised or indented you can still install an Epic Board Skin to look fantastic. If you are unsure contact your local supplier and see if the board shop can install the graphic for you, so you don’t have to worry about it. The local board shop or even a local sign and graphics shop will have the experience for a small fee to get the job done correctly. Extra care must be taken during the application process to ensure a satisfying final result and it’s highly suggested that you have a second person assist during the application for more care and control on.

9. How long should my Epic Board Skin last?

We use only the highest quality 3M Scotchprint™air release vinyl technology materials, our products and although under normal wear and tear should be expected to last for years without fading or peeling. We use the same materials and laminates used across the country to wrap cars, trucks and commercial vehicles to ensure that what you buy from us will stand up against the harshest of elements. However, due to the nature of the sports we do cater to, Epic Board Skins can make no true guarantee as to how long your board skin will last. As far as the product guarantee goes by 3M Scotchprint Graphics. Should last up to 3 yrs with no fading or cracking. Unless installed incorrectly. See our installations video for more info.

14. How much is it to ship my Epic Board Skin and how long will it take?

It really depends on where you are located but standard Canada Post within Canada would be roughly $15  dollars and approximately 5-8 business days on reciept of shipment date. For the US roughly $20 and 7-14 days Max!

15. How long does it take to get my custom Epic Board Skin made from time of order?

From the time your order gets placed and we have received your uploaded file along with payment, and all is a go with no changes on the file your custom production should be around 7-10 Business days.

16. How long is the curing process?

It’s usually pretty good to go if you have taken the proper steps upon install. Ie: cleaning the surface, sanding ruff edges, epoxying holes, applying the vinyl with force (remember to wrap your supplied squeegee) and heat gunning the whole skin. This will ensure bonding and get it ready hit up right away. If you do it the night before and let it cure over night is usually the best. Also after taking the proper steps to the prep work before applying. Use your moms, or girlfriends hair dryer to make a good seal along the edges. Please see our installations video for detailed instructions.

17. Does Filing my board or ski damage it?

Not if you only go throught the vinyl material. We do this because it helps to seal the edges much better to help when you are in the cold to prevent edge chipping on the vinyl material only. Unless you have hit some thing or did not make sure your edges were smooth to begin with.
